My hometown favorite| North Hill's Midtown

Hey you!  Yes you my friend, the one reading this post.  Can you guess my favorite hoemtown hangout?  Well, when I heard Evenbrite was looking for a few bloggers to share their favorite hometown secrets, I was estatic to share a Golden nugget right in Raleigh's Midtown.  NorthHills is by far Raleigh's best kept secret.  It is definitely not a new gem, but it is certainly evolving  and quickly becoming the #1 go to spot in town for both young and older alike.

When I think of all the amzing things you can find in that small area, I am inclined to believe that many don't realize how awesome the area has become and how much is offered.  North Hills is easy access from any place in the city and for the out of towners it is less than 5 minutes from the mall, right off the express way, and once you go to North Hill's you don't have a need to leave for anything.  What I love most about the North Hills is the jazzy vibe.  There are well over 20 eateries, lots of shopping, and tons of entertainment alike.  The area caters to everyone.  They have family events, events for singles and working professionals, they offer music concerts, festivals, exercise in the park, they have a gym, and they even bring the farmers market to you for about 5 months out of the year.  Just a couple of weeknds ago they had an Iron Chef Brunch where some of the local restaurants competed right outside for everyone to see.  The area has a grocery store, bowling alley, movie theater, coffee shops, crepes and cupcakes, shopping (both mid to high range), banks and so much more.  The best part of it all is that anything you could want or need is all within walking distance of each other.
The BRUNCH IRON CHEF Challenge is in progress! Looks like sweet potato fries in the making! @thecowfishsbb looks like they came to win with their grill and all. @midtownevents @visitnorthhills
