Macy's Spring Fashion Show

A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to attend Macy's "The Secret Garden" spring fashion show here in Raleigh.  It was quaint, but I really enjoyed the event.  The show started just a few minutes late, but it wasn't anything extremely noticeable, I think.  I was so busy chatting and laughing with fellow bloggers that I completely lost track of time.  As we waited for the show to begin, there were drinks, mini desserts, and mini makeovers for the guest to enjoy.  Then it all happened.. and it was over. (haha) There were a lot of great pieces on the red carpet.  What I liked most about the event was that Macy's chose some every day people in combination with a few models that had experience and a wide range of ages.  I loved this.  I could relate to the models and many of them (especially the more seasoned models) made for a fun and graceful show.  I look forward to many more events with Macy's of Crabtree.
